Where electricity is unreliable, lighting and phone charging are everyday needs. MULTI 300 XL brings them into one portable product: a solar lantern for the home, with energy to keep a phone connected.
An external solar panel charges the battery during the day. Adjustable LED lighting makes the stored energy useful for reading, cooking and gathering after sunset, reducing reliance on fuel-based light and separate charging services.
Easy to carry. Ready for daily life.
A broad handle, stable base and adjustable stand let the light move between tasks. The rounded enclosure is comfortable to handle; a large diffuser makes light the centre of the design. Weather protection supports everyday use beyond the living room.

Ti el Attar led product design at NIWA alongside his responsibilities as Managing Director. MULTI 300 XL brings together industrial design, everyday usability and the practical demands of an off-grid energy product.
His role extended beyond the object to building and managing the NIWA brand. Product development and business leadership were connected by the same aim: useful technology that customers value and a business able to deliver it.
